CBSI 5 STEP METHOD
Five
Key Features Of Each Passage Studied.
1. Individual Study: Class members answer study questions on their own with only the Bible as their source.
2. Group Sharing: The members come together weekly in a common meeting place. There, they share their answers in a Small Group led by a trained leader who facilitates the sharing so that everyone feels comfortable.
3. Concise Teaching: After sharing, the class members receive teaching on the passage by a trained teacher.
4. Commentary and Study Questions: A printed commentary written by a Biblical scholar is then provided, which gives the class members further insights into the passage. The questions for the next week's lesson are attached to this commentary.
5. Loving Community: Each class member is lovingly cared for by the Small Group Leader and others in the class.
