		HISTORY Community Bible Study began classes in England and Peru in 1979. By 1986, there were many more requests for CBS courses overseas. Realizing that God had a great plan in mind, Community Bible Study International (CBSI) was incorporated as a separate ministry in 1992, dedicated to making disciples for Christ around the world. Today, CBS and CBSI continue in a close working relationship. CBS provides Bible study materials and teaching aids to CBSI that are then translated and provided to teachers in various countries around the world. CBSI serves as the missionary arm to CBS who strives to assist us our goal to get "everyone in the world, in the Word."
