Dr. Glenn Collard has had the privilege of serving Christ and His church in education,
pastoral ministry and cross-cultural ministries. The oldest of four children, Glenn
was raised in a Christian home. His father was a traveling evangelist for most of
Glenn’s early childhood. He personally accepted Christ as Lord and Savior when he
was 10 years old. From his earliest days when he began to serve the Lord as a college
freshman, he has sought to fulfill the call of God on his life. God has given him
the desire of his heart to minister to people on three continents. Glenn and his
wife Dianne lived in Europe for 15 years ministering as missionaries. It is that
cross-cultural experience Glenn brings to his role with CBSI.
His training includes a BS in music, an MA in education and a PhD in church administration.
He has had extensive experience as an educator, a pastor, and a leader in international
missions. The blending of all his training and experience, combined with his spiritual
gifts, culminates in his role as Senior Regional Director for Europe.
Glenn is a visionary. His passion is to see people matured in the faith and the
church grow and multiply. His personal goal is to influence others and impact their
lives in such a way as to multiply the church of Jesus Christ.
Glenn and Dianne are the parents of three children. Their oldest son, Tim, is with
the Lord. They have two other grown children, who are married and serving the Lord.
They are the proud grandparents of five granddaughters. Glenn and Dianne reside
in Charlotte, NC, from where Glenn directs his work in the region.
Community Bible Study is proud to be a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial
Accountability. The ECFA’s Standards of Responsible Stewardship focus on board governance,
financial transparency, integrity in fund-raising, and proper use of charity resources.
