OUR INTERNATIONAL LEADERS

I was born and raised in France. By the time I became a teenager, I started doubting the existence of God and decided to pursue success instead. I moved to the USA in 1973, married Scarlett in 1977 and we settled in Los Angeles until 1979 when we moved to Mission Viejo, CA. In 1980 our son Patrick was born. I worked very hard, opened my own business and set out to make it big. I was a pastry chef by trade.

In 1985, Billy Graham came near our town and Scarlett who had become a Christian through a Billy Graham telecast in 1982 got involved in the crusade. Every night she would ask me to come. Finally, the last night, to please her I went, listened to the preacher and received Jesus Christ as my savior.

In the following year, in many different ways, God revealed Himself to me and on July of 1986 at three o’clock in the morning, in the back of my bakery, I kneeled down and gave my life to Jesus, surrendering to His Lordship. Soon after Jesus moved in my life in a powerful way, he gave me strong faith and desire to know Him. I started studying the Bible under a great teacher, got involved in a local church and within a few months He gave me a yearning to share what I had received with the French people. I went to pastoral training and was ordained pastor by my church in August 1995.

Through the ministry of CBSI, we have, since 1996, be given the privilege to challenge the French people and the people of Western Europe to come to a true knowledge of Jesus Christ through the study of His Word in the caring and comfortable environment of friends. It is an awesome privilege to see the life of hundreds of French and European been transformed by the power of His Word.
